Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Credit Controller specializing in Logistics and Cargo. The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing credit processes, monitoring outstanding debts, and ensuring timely collection of payments. Additional tasks include assessing customer creditworthiness, maintaining accurate financial records, and resolving any credit-related issues. Collaboration with internal teams and adherence to company credit policies will be essential components of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Credit Control and Credit Management
- Proficiency in Debt Collection and Debtor management processes
- Solid understanding of Finance and financial principles
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in the logistics and cargo industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
