WE’RE HIRING | Credit Assessor – Australian Mortgage
Experience Required: Relevant experience in Australian Mortgage Credit Assessment / Underwriting
Preference: Immediate Joiners / Short Notice Period Candidates
We are looking for experienced Credit Assessors with strong expertise in Australian Mortgage Underwriting and Credit Assessment. If you have hands-on experience in assessing Australian home loan applications, self-employed income calculations, and complex credit analysis, we would like to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed credit analysis and assess financial statements to evaluate credit risk.
Perform credit assessment for Australian Home Loans and Self-Employed Mortgage Applications.
Review and verify loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Analyze data to validate information and identify fraud risks.
Assess complex loan structures ensuring adherence to lender-specific credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate applications based on Capacity, Capital, Credit, and Collateral (4C’s Model).
Make informed loan approval or rejection decisions by assessing individual, business, and trust income.
Coordinate with lenders, brokers, and stakeholders for smooth credit evaluation processes.
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, risk management standards, and service timelines.
Verify customer identity details in line with regulatory requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
Experience in Australian Mortgage Credit Assessment
Strong expertise in Self-Employed Income Calculation (Mandatory)
Hands-on experience in Australian Home Loan Underwriting
Strong understanding of lending policies, compliance frameworks, and risk assessment
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
