Hiring | Credit Analyst – SME / Wholesale Banking
📍 Location: Mumbai
🏦 Function: Credit / Risk
💼 Experience: 4–8 Years
We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst with strong expertise in SME credit appraisal, risk assessment and portfolio monitoring to join the Credit/Risk team.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Prepare Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) for existing and new-to-bank SME clients.
• Engage with customers to obtain financial, business and other relevant information required for credit assessment.
• Partner with the business team to evaluate credit terms, risks and appropriate mitigants.
• Monitor loan accounts against the terms and conditions stipulated by the Sanctioning Authority.
• Prepare Monthly / Quarterly Portfolio Monitoring Reports and highlight key risk indicators.
• Identify covenant breaches / non-compliances and escalate them with a clear action plan.
• Conduct unit / customer visits and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Manage and resolve escalations relating to credit and risk assessments.
🔹 Ideal Candidate
✔️ Experience in SME / Wholesale / Business Banking Credit
✔️ Strong understanding of Credit Appraisal, Financial Analysis & Risk Assessment
✔️ Experience in CRAN preparation and post-sanction monitoring
✔️ Exposure to portfolio monitoring, covenant compliance and customer/unit visits
✔️ Ability to independently interact with Business teams and SME clients
