This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in expanding and maintaining a robust provider network that supports our mission of delivering accessible mental health care nationwide.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have relevant experience in provider credentialing, healthcare operations, or provider enrollment. Familiarity with credentialing platforms such as CAQH, NPI registry, and PECOS is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of payer credentialing workflows, provider enrollment procedures, and insurance credentialing processes. Strong organizational and documentation management skills are required to maintain accurate records and track credentialing statuses effectively. Excellent communication skills are necessary to liaise professionally with healthcare providers and insurance representatives. Experience working with mental health or behavioral health providers is preferred, as is familiarity with telehealth or healthcare technology platforms. The ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving capabilities are critical to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes with various insurance payers to ensure timely and compliant enrollment.
- Maintain and regularly update provider profiles on CAQH and other credentialing platforms, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
- Collect, verify, and organize provider documentation, including licenses, National Provider Identifiers (NPIs), malpractice insurance, and other required credentials.
- Track the status of credentialing applications, follow up with insurance networks, and resolve any issues that may arise during the process.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized credentialing records, documentation trackers, and databases for internal auditing and compliance purposes.
- Assist with payer roster updates, provider enrollment submissions, and other administrative tasks related to network participation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot credentialing-related issues, ensuring providers are ready and credentialed to see clients without delays.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance policies, credentialing requirements, and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency.
