Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Credentialing Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations and other standards. Day-to-day tasks include verifying provider credentials, maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the credentialing process.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Credentialing and Medical Staff Credentialing
- Outstanding Communication and Customer Service skills
- Knowledge and experience with Medicare policies and procedures
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage provider records
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and industry standards is a plus
- Proficient computer and database management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education is a bonus
