Role Description The Credentialing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing process for clinicians and therapy providers. This role includes preparing, submitting, and tracking credentialing applications with payers and regulatory bodies, maintaining accurate provider records, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and timelines. The Credentialing Manager will collaborate with clinical, operations, and billing teams to resolve credentialing issues, verify licenses and certifications, and support provider onboarding. Daily tasks involve monitoring expirations, updating internal systems, responding to payer inquiries, and generating status reports for leadership. The role also supports process improvement, develops credentialing procedures, and helps ensure that children and families experience uninterrupted access to care.
Qualifications
- Experience in provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and re-credentialing processes, preferably in healthcare or therapy services.
- Strong skills in data management, documentation, and use of credentialing or practice management software.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to licensing, certifications, and payer contracts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clinicians, families, payers, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi and coordinate with geographically dispersed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field; relevant credentialing or compliance certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in pediatric or behavioral health settings is beneficial, along with a commitment to family-centered care.
