Our Instagram page already has 470,000+ followers, and our next ambitious goal is to reach 1 million followers within the next 180 days.
To achieve this, we are looking for a creative and growth-focused Instagram Growth Manager Intern who is passionate about startups, storytelling, and social media growth.
Role Overview
As an Instagram Growth Manager Intern, your primary goal will be to help scale the KaroStartup Instagram page from 470K to 1 million followers. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media culture, thinks creatively, and is excited about experimenting with content formats that can go viral.
You will work closely with our content and storytelling team to research startup stories, build engaging reels, and test new creative approaches that can drive reach, engagement, and community growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies to help grow the KaroStartup Instagram page to 1M followers
- Research trending startup stories, founder journeys, and industry insights
- Create unique and engaging reel concepts around startups, entrepreneurship, and business
- Apply growth hacks and creative content strategies to improve reach and engagement
- Analyze content performance and suggest improvements based on insights
- Stay updated with Instagram trends, algorithms, and viral content formats
- Work on copywriting and storytelling for engaging captions and scripts
- (Optional but preferred) Appear on camera to create reels and present startup stories
Creative Content Approach

You Should
- Understand copywriting and storytelling for social media
- Think in unconventional and creative ways
- Create content that feels new, surprising, and thought-provoking
- Have an artistic perspective toward storytelling
- Be passionate about startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship
The goal is to create content nobody else in the startup ecosystem is publishing.

- Students or recent graduates interested in startups, media, or content creation
- People who are highly creative and enjoy storytelling
- Someone who reads about startups, founders, and business trends regularly
- Familiar with Instagram reels, viral trends, and social media growth strategies
- Comfortable experimenting with new content ideas and formats
- Bonus if you are comfortable speaking on camera

Compensation & Opportunity
