Role Purpose
To craft clear, engaging, and credible content across formats ranging from digital copy to video scripts that simplifies finance for Indian audiences, supports campaigns, and strengthens the JioFinance brand voice. This role works closely with creative, design, strategy, and production teams to bring ideas to life across touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Copywriting (Digital & Campaigns)
● Write sharp, effective copy for:
○ Social media posts and captions
○ Performance marketing banners and ads
○ Campaign lines, taglines, and messaging frameworks
● Translate financial and product information into simple, user-friendly, and trustworthy language
● Adapt copy based on:
○ Platform requirements and audience behavior
○ Performance insights and feedback
○ Brand tone and regulatory considerations
2. Scriptwriting (Video & Content)
● Conceptualise and write scripts for:
○ Educational and explanatory finance content
○ Product walkthroughs and feature explainers
○ Brand films and storytelling content
○ Short-form content (Instagram, YouTube Shorts)
○ Long-form videos and series (YouTube, etc.)
● Simplify complex financial concepts into relatable, engaging narratives without losing accuracy
● Write across English, Hindi, and Hinglish, adapting tone and structure by platform and audience
3. Video & Content Collaboration
● Support video production by:
○ Writing hooks, supers, and VO lines
○ Assisting with script drafts, adaptations, and repurposing content
● Collaborate closely with:
○ Designers, motion, and video teams
○ Producers and editors
○ Strategy, marketing, and brand teams
● Participate in:
○ Script discussions and storyboarding
○ Creative reviews to ensure scripts are production-ready
4. Cross-functional & Strategic Contribution
● Ensure consistency of brand voice across all formats and platforms
● Align content with business goals and campaign objectives
● Iterate based on performance data, feedback, and evolving guidelines

● Content across formats is clear, engaging, and on-brand, especially for finance communication
● Video scripts improve watch-time, engagement, and clarity
● Social and performance content shows strong audience response
● Becomes a trusted creative partner across design, production, and marketing teams
● Starts owning key content streams independently
● Recognized as a go-to voice for finance storytelling within the ecosystem
Required Skills & Experience
● Minimum 4-5 years experience. Experience across copywriting and/or scriptwriting (finance, FinTech, BFSI preferred)
● Strong writing skills across:
○ Short-form copy (social, performance)
○ Campaign and brand communication
○ Video scripts (short & long-form)
● Proven ability to:
○ Simplify complex topics
○ Write for multiple formats and platforms
● Understanding of:
○ Narrative structure, pacing, hooks, and storytelling
○ Platform nuances (Instagram, YouTube, digital campaigns)
● Experience working with:
○ Cross-functional teams (creative, strategy, production)
○ Video production workflows
● Language proficiency:
○ Strong command of English and Hindi
○ Comfort with Hinglish tonality
