Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Creative Video Editor at MediaLabbs15 Studios, based in Mira Road. The Creative Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished, high-quality content, ensuring alignment with project objectives and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include utilizing advanced editing software, incorporating visual effects and transitions, syncing audio and video, and collaborating with creative and production teams to meet deadlines and storytelling goals. The role also includes maintaining file organization, performing quality control of final outputs, and staying updated with the latest editing trends and techniques.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Skills in visual effects, color grading, and motion graphics
- Ability to incorporate audio design and synchronize soundtracks using tools like Adobe Audition or similar audio editing programs
- Experience with storytelling, pacing, and creative scene assembly to produce engaging videos
- Knowledge of modern video formats, codecs, resolutions, and compression techniques
- Strong organizational skills to manage files, version control, and meet project deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality video outputs through visual and technical quality control
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools and an interest in leveraging technology for innovative editing solutions is a plus
- Education or certification in film production, media studies, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented and fast-paced creative environment
