About the role
We are looking for a Brand Storyteller & Visual Designer to create engaging social media creatives for multiple local business clients.
This is not just a design role. You will understand each client’s industry, audience, offer, and brand personality then turn that understanding into clear, attractive, story-led visuals using Canva and other tools you are comfortable with.
Flexibility of working hours you get to decide.
Tip: For faster feedback, instead of sending your résumé, choose any client from our Instagram account and create a poster based on a festival, product, or anything else you like. Then send it to us on WhatsApp at 7500005007.
What you will do
- Create social media creatives for multiple clients, including posts, stories, carousels, offer announcements, festival creatives, and campaign visuals.
- Understand each client’s business category and adapt the storytelling style accordingly. For example, a café, salon, clinic, boutique, coaching centre, or local service business.
- Develop simple story flows: hook, main message, proof or benefit, offer, and call to action.
- Maintain separate Canva brand kits, templates, colours, fonts, and asset folders for each client.
- Ensure brand consistency across all creatives, while keeping each client’s identity distinct.
- Write or adapt short, clear copy for visuals in English and/or Hindi.
- Coordinate with photographers and video editors to use photos, reels, and video assets effectively.
- Manage multiple client requirements, deadlines, revisions, and weekly content calendars.
- Improve existing templates and create reusable design systems to speed up production.
What we are looking for
- You should be comfortable creating original layouts, not only editing templates.
- A good eye for layout, typography, colour, spacing, and readability on mobile screens.
- Ability to think in terms of stories and messages, not just decorative designs.
- Basic copywriting skills or willingness to write short, punchy captions and headlines.
- Ability to manage work for many clients at once.
- Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
- Interest in local businesses, branding, social media, and visual storytelling.
- Based in or near Haldwani, able to meet once a week in person.
What you will get
- Opportunity to work on real brands across different industries.
- A creative role where your ideas directly shape how local businesses communicate.
- Flexible, practical working culture with a weekly in-person creative discussion.
- Steady, varied work across multiple client accounts.
