About Sarha
Sarha is a contemporary saree brand built around the philosophy of “the eternal weave”, signifying elegance, strength, and grace. We sell across Myntra, Nykaa, Amazon, our own Shopify store (sarha.in), and B2B channels. Sarha is the flagship brand of Yashaamm Fashions Pvt Ltd, which also operates white-label businesses for House of Pataudi, Mitera, and Navibhu.
The Role
We are hiring our first dedicated Brand & Marketing Lead for Sarha. You will own the brand end-to-end, including creative direction, digital marketing, content strategy, and the engine that converts brand love into revenue. This is a hands-on role today with a clear path to building and leading multiple person marketing team within 18 to 24 months.
You will report directly to the Director and work closely with our existing social media person, AI image team, and ecom operations.
What You Will Own
Brand & Creative Direction
• Custodian of Sarha’s brand identity across every touchpoint, including Shopify, social, email, WhatsApp, packaging, and B2B collateral
• Creative direction for B2B content, including finding and briefing B2B reel creators (for our B2B markets), agencies (reel broadcasting agencies for our B2B markets), and freelancers
• Direction and QC of AI fashion imagery for ecom listings (we have a defined Brand Skin framework you will work with) and also for B2B marketing.
• Visual and tonal consistency across all 4 marketplace channels and our D2C store
What We Are Looking For
• 1 to 2 years in brand and digital marketing, ideally in fashion, D2C, beauty, or lifestyle
• Hands-on experience with email marketing tools (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, MoEngage) and WhatsApp Business API platforms (Wati, Interakt, or similar)
• Experience briefing reel creators, photographers, or content agencies (B2B and B2C). Bring sample briefs to the interview
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and Shopify backend
• Strong creative instinct combined with comfort with numbers. You should be able to read a P&L and Analytics dashboard with equal ease
• Ability to translate brand guidelines into creative briefs (we will show you our Brand Skin Reference Matrix in the interview and ask you to interpret it)
• Has been a number 2 in a marketing team or led a small marketing function. You understand what good leadership looks like
What We Are Not Looking For
• Pure agency-side professionals who have never owned a brand P&L
• Marketplace-only operators (this is a brand-building role, not a Myntra catalogue role)
• Anyone who claims expert-level mastery of SEO, performance marketing, email, content, and creative simultaneously
• Someone looking for a manager-of-managers role from day one
The Trajectory
Year 1: Hands-on across the full marketing function. Build systems, SOPs, and rhythms.
Year 2: Hire your first junior. Begin transitioning into a leadership role.
Year 3: Lead a 3-person marketing team as Head of Marketing.
Salary scales with this trajectory. We will be transparent about it in the conversation.
Compensation
Shall be based on experience and fit, with a structured review at month 12 tied to performance and team expansion.
