This is an exciting time to join Pocket FM as we continue redefining audio entertainment globally. We are looking for a Creative Lead Writer who can transform long form fiction into gripping, serialized audio first stories tailored for the US audience.
If you live and breathe Crime Thrillers — Detective fiction, Suspense, Psychological thrillers, Action, Mystery then this role might be for you.
What we’re looking for:
- 6+ years of experience in fiction/editorial
- 2+ years in a leadership/team management role
- Deep understanding of the Crime Thriller genre
- Strong grasp of US cultural context and storytelling sensibilities
- Experience adapting web novels, books, comics, or long-form narratives into serialized content
- Passion for storytelling, editorial excellence, and tech-enabled creative workflows
What you’ll do:
- Lead high-impact US Crime Thriller show launches
- Manage and mentor a team of writers
- Ensure strong storytelling, pacing, emotional depth, and retention
- Adapt stories into binge-worthy serialized audio content
