ABOUT BIRD EYE
Bird Eye is a homegrown Indian activewear brand built for women who move: in the gym, on the mat, on the track, and everywhere in between. We design performance-first, aesthetic-forward apparel: leggings, sports bras, matching sets, and more. We're a lean startup team based out of Khar West, Mumbai, growing fast and building for the long term. Everyone who joins us owns a piece of what we're building.
THE ROLE
You will own the visual and content identity of Bird Eye, from Instagram to product shoots, from brand guidelines to campaign thinking. This is not an execution-only role. We want someone who can sit in a brand strategy conversation in the morning and deliver a reel brief by afternoon. You'll work closely with the founders and be the creative brain behind how Bird Eye is seen and felt by the world.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Define and maintain Bird Eye's visual language, colours, typography, tone, photography style, and reel aesthetic
- Brainstorm with the Marketing team in content planning for Instagram, website, and new channels, calendars, briefs, and final output
- Brief and direct shoots (product, model, lifestyle), you work with the mood board, you're on set
- Design all brand touchpoints: social assets, email templates, packaging inserts, offline collateral
- Track what's performing, understand why, and iterate, not just aesthetics but conversion
- Collaborate with ops and retail on seasonal campaigns and offline activations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–5 years in brand design, ideally in fashion, lifestyle, or D2C
- Strong portfolio that shows both visual taste and conceptual thinking, not just execution
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite (Ps, Ai, Pr or equivalent); Cap Cut, After Effects or similar for reels is a plus
- You understand the activewear/wellness aesthetic but can push it, not a trend follower, a taste-maker
- Comfortable working without a large team, you'll often be the team
- Quirky sensibility, grounded execution. No ego about getting your hands dirty.
