Role Description The Creative Faculty role is a part-time, on-site position based in South Delhi. In this role, the faculty member will plan and deliver classroom sessions for entrance exam preparation in design, architecture, and fine arts, using Pahal Design’s curriculum and study materials. Responsibilities include demonstrating creative techniques, guiding students through portfolio development and studio work, and conducting practice sessions for situation tests, studio tests, and related assessments. The faculty member will provide regular feedback, assess student progress through assignments and mock tests, and help learners build exam strategies and creative confidence. Collaboration with other mentors and participation in academic activities, workshops, and crash courses are also part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in design, architecture, or fine arts, with the ability to teach drawing, creative thinking, and design fundamentals.
- Experience in coaching or mentoring students for competitive or entrance examinations, preferably NID, NIFT, NATA, UCEED, CEED, or related exams.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging lesson plans, classroom activities, and studio exercises tailored to different batches (foundation, regular, crash courses).
- Proficiency in evaluating student work, providing constructive feedback, and supporting portfolio and exam strategy development.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related discipline from a recognized institution; alumni of premier institutes are preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfort with using basic digital tools for presentations, online mock tests, and sharing learning resources.
- Willingness to work part-time on-site in South Delhi, with flexibility for weekend
