Black Diamond Media & Production Pvt. Ltd. is building high-quality original Indian animated IPs with a strong focus on cinematic storytelling, cutting-edge 3D animation, and Unreal Engine workflows. We are looking for a visionary Creative Director who can lead our creative vision from concept to final delivery.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Creative Director – 3D Animation with a deep understanding of the complete 3D animation production pipeline. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional creative vision with strong leadership skills to guide artists, directors, and production teams in creating world-class animated content.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the creative vision across all animation projects.
* Lead the complete 3D animation pipeline—from concept development, storyboarding, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, rendering, compositing, to final delivery.
* Collaborate closely with writers, directors, production managers, and technical teams.
* Review creative assets to ensure the highest artistic and technical standards.
* Mentor and inspire artists while maintaining consistency in quality and style.
* Drive creative decisions for characters, environments, cinematography, and visual storytelling.
* Optimize workflows using Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine.
* Ensure timely project delivery without compromising quality.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, AI tools, and animation technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
* 8+ years of experience in the 3D animation industry.
* Proven experience leading creative teams and managing large-scale animation productions.
* Expert knowledge of the complete 3D animation production pipeline.
* Strong proficiency in Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine, Blender, Substance Painter, ZBrush, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Excellent understanding of storytelling, character animation, lighting, rendering, cinematography, and composition.
* Experience with MetaHuman workflows is an added advantage.
* Outstanding leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
* A strong portfolio and showreel showcasing high-quality 3D animation work.
