About the Role
We're looking for a highly creative, hands-on all-rounder who can take an idea from concept to finished asset, whether that's a static graphic, a carousel, a motion piece, or a fully edited video. This is a maker role, not a coordinator role. You should be equally comfortable storyboarding a concept, designing the visual, and cutting the final video yourself.
You live and breathe internet culture. You know what's trending, what a meme format is doing right now, what art style is having its moment, and how to translate all of that into content that feels native to social media rather than corporate.
What you'll get to do
· Concept to finished asset: Take raw ideas or briefs and turn them into polished static graphics, carousels, motion graphics, and edited videos, end to end.
· Video editing & motion design: Produce short-form and long-form video content, from social reels to explainer videos, with strong pacing, sound design, and visual polish.
· Visual storytelling: Simplify complex technical and concepts into content that's easy to understand and fun to watch.
· Trend & culture fluency: Stay on top of meme formats, pop culture moments, and emerging visual/art styles, and know how to apply them to our brands without feeling forced.
· Storyboarding & conceptualization: Sketch out ideas, shot lists, and visual narratives before production begins.
· Asset & template development: Build reusable templates and visual systems for recurring content (carousels, reels, post formats) so the team can move fast without sacrificing quality.
· Cross-brand consistency: Maintain a distinct but cohesive visual identity across Kwala, STOEX, Tresori, and other brands in the portfolio.
What you bring
· 5+ years of experience as a graphic designer and video editor/motion designer, ideally with social-first content experience (tech, SaaS, blockchain, or fintech is a plus but not mandatory).
· Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Lightroom.
· Proficiency in Figma and Canva for design and collaboration.
· A sharp editorial eye for pacing, timing, and rhythm in video, and a strong sense of visual composition in static design.
· Deep familiarity with meme culture, pop culture, and current social/visual trends, and the instinct to know what will actually land on social media.
· Strong storyboarding and conceptualization skills; you can visualize an idea before a single asset is made.
· Comfort working with AI-powered creative tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway, or similar) is a strong plus.
· A portfolio or reel that shows range across static, motion, and video, and demonstrates original creative thinking, not just execution of someone else's brief.
