Company description
Shaanks is a creative production agency that builds high-volume ad creative systems for DTC brands across skincare, supplements, fashion, and CPG. We’re looking for a designer who thinks about performance, not just aesthetics.
This is not a basic “graphic design” role. We need a performance designer — someone who understands that a beautiful ad that nobody clicks is a failed ad.
What you’ll do
- Design static ad creatives for Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Amazon.
- Adapt one concept into multiple sizes and formats (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 1.91:1) quickly and consistently.
- Use AI and modern design tools in your workflow: Higgsfield, Canva, Freepik, and leading AI image-generation models.
- Design email layouts for DTC e-commerce brands (mobile-first, HTML-ready structures).
- Think deeply about hooks, CTAs, visual hierarchy, and messaging — not just making things look clean.
Core requirements
- Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and composition.
- Photoshop (must), Illustrator (must). Figma (strong plus). Canva familiarity is useful.
- Experience designing static ad creatives for paid social or e-commerce (Meta, TikTok, display, or similar).
- Understanding of what makes an ad perform: offer clarity, urgency, social proof, and scroll-stopping visuals — not just “on-brand” aesthetics.
- Experience with or genuine interest in AI image tools and using them inside a real production workflow.
Strict requirements
- Portfolio is MANDATORY — must include ad creatives or performance-focused design work. Portfolios with only logos, wedding cards, or college projects will not be considered.
- No college students, part-time, or interns — this is a full-time professional role.
- Must be available for immediate joining.
- Must complete a practical task assignment — incomplete submissions will be automatically rejected.
- Must be able to deliver at least 3 ad variations from a single brief in under 4 hours.

Hiring process
- Application form — detailed questions, including creative-thinking exercises (~15 minutes).
- Design task — create real ad creatives from a brief, with a 12-hour deadline.
- Final interview — deep dive into your designs, thought process, tools, and performance mindset.
- Only candidates who clear all three stages will be considered.
