Social Media Executive – Creative Production
Experience: 0–2 years
Location: Mumbai
Team: Brand & Marketing
About IGP
IGP is a leading gifting brand helping people celebrate relationships and make everyday moments special through flowers, cakes, personalised gifts and curated hampers. We create content that makes gifting more relevant, relatable and exciting for today's audience.
We're looking for a social-first, AI-first content creator who lives and breathes short-form video, loves experimenting with new tools and can turn ideas into engaging content using nothing more than a phone, creative instinct and the right technology.
The Role
This is a hands-on, in-house content creation role. You'll be responsible for taking content from idea to execution — conceptualising, shooting, editing and creating platform-native content for IGP's social media channels.
We're looking for someone who is as comfortable shooting a Reel on an iPhone as they are experimenting with AI video tools like Higgsfield. You should be curious, quick, culturally plugged in and excited about pushing the boundaries of what a small, agile content team can create.
What You'll Do
1. Conceptualise & Create Social-First Content
- Ideate and create Instagram Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts and other short-form video content.
- Translate trends, cultural moments, internet conversations and everyday human insights into content relevant to IGP.
- Develop strong hooks, relatable storytelling and platform-native formats that capture attention in the first few seconds.
- Create content across brand storytelling, product discovery, gifting occasions, humour, trends and commerce.
2. Shoot & Edit In-House
- Independently shoot content using a phone, with a strong understanding of framing, lighting, angles, movement and composition.
- Edit videos with a sharp understanding of pacing, transitions, sound design, subtitles and retention.
- Work with products, people, creators and everyday situations to create engaging content without relying on large production setups.
- Deliver high-quality, social-ready content with quick turnarounds.
3. Be AI-First
- Use AI tools as a core part of the content creation process, from ideation and storyboarding to generating visuals and creating or enhancing videos.
- Experiment hands-on with tools such as Higgsfield and other emerging AI video, image and editing platforms.
- Explore unconventional ways to create content that would otherwise require bigger budgets, complex shoots or extensive production.
- Stay curious about new tools, test them, understand their limitations and bring the best experiments into regular content production.
4. Stay Ahead of Internet Culture
- Keep up with emerging trends, memes, creators, formats, sounds and online conversations.
- Identify which trends are relevant to IGP and adapt them creatively rather than blindly jumping on every trend.
- Bring fresh references, formats and ideas to the team regularly.
5. Learn, Test & Optimise
- Take ownership of content from concept to final output, incorporating feedback without losing creative intent.
- Track basic content metrics such as views, watch time, retention, shares, saves and engagement.
- Learn from content performance and use those insights to improve future hooks, formats and storytelling.
- Maintain an organised library of raw footage, edits, references and reusable content assets.
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in content creation, video editing, social media or a similar role. Strong personal projects and creator portfolios are welcome.
- Hands-on experience with video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, VN or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AI content creation tools, particularly Higgsfield. We value actual experimentation and work created over simply knowing the tools exist.
- Confidence shooting videos on a smartphone and creating compelling visuals without a professional camera setup.
- A strong visual eye, instinct for storytelling and understanding of what makes someone stop scrolling.
- Comfort with Instagram-native formats, internet culture and short-form video trends.
- A proactive, experimental mindset — someone who tries things, learns quickly and doesn't wait for every instruction.
- Ability to take a content idea from a rough thought to a finished, publishable asset independently.
You'll Be a Great Fit If…
- You make Reels for yourself or your own page just because you enjoy creating.
- You are the person in your friend group who knows the latest trends, edits videos and experiments with new apps.
- You have tried making AI videos, product films, visual transitions or creative edits just to see what's possible.
- You can make an ordinary product look interesting through the way you shoot, edit or tell its story.
- You care about the content itself, not just posting consistently.
- You believe great content comes from a combination of creative instinct, experimentation and execution.
