About the role

The Operations Business Analyst role is to plan, design, develop, launch and maintain operational systems in support of core operational business functions through problem solving, root cause analysis and correct actions. Serving as a strategic operational resource through the usage of Crane Business system tools. Role carries direct responsibility for performing relatively complex assignments that affect business operations to a moderate degree. Essential Functions: Lead design sessions in prototyping new Business Intelligence (BI) tools for the purpose of enhancing operational processes and information process flow Collaborate in the design, development, and deployment of new BI applications and enhancements to existing applications Analyze information to identify adverse trends that require corrective action and system improvements Work with procedure and system users to provide training, solicit ideas for improvement, improve processes, implement new or revised procedures Maintain the various Operations Bowler scorecards that monitor Safety, Quality, Development, Cost and Growth Lead Kaizen events to drive completion of solutions Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
