JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily supervision and operation of the Table Games. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Coyote Valley Casino’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Value Statement of the Coyote Valley Casino.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for supervision of the Table Games Dealers.
- Monitors employee performance and make recommendations to the Table Games Manager.
- Ensures proper staffing levels and work schedules in order to provide a high level of service with minimum labor hours.
- Communicates regularly with employees and keep them informed of all activities and events.
- Assists with the monitoring and documentation of all absentees, shortages and vacations. Assists in the disciplinary/counseling action on employees in violation.
- Maintains a high standard of guest service within the Table Games and actively promotes positive customer and employee relations by ensuring that excellent customer service is continually provided.
- Monitors controls designed to assure full compliance with state, federal, and tribal regulatory requirements.
- Ensures that organizational and regulatory policies and procedures are understood and adhered to.
- Handles customer and employee disputes that may arise and settle disputes in a manner that expresses excellent customer service as well as ensuring that the best interest of the operation is considered at all times.
- Monitors any and all unusual activity between employees and patrons for possible collusion.
- Utilizes effective communication tools to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through all shifts.
- Must be able to work well with co-workers, Supervisors, and Managers.
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- Maintains a good attendance record.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Table Games Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in table games dealing and/or 1-3 years supervisory experience.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must meet requirements to qualify for a Coyote Valley Casino Gaming License.
- Must pass an extensive background check.
- Preference in filling vacancies is given to qualified members of the Coyote Valley of Pomo Indian Tribe or qualified Native American candidates in accordance with the Indian Preference Act (Title 2, U. S. Code).
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to use basic mathematical skills to perform job.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
