The Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining a developing business portfolio for Manheim Australia's Industrial division, concentrating on the agriculture industry within New South Wales & Queensland. With a focus on achieving specific objectives and key performance indicators, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of our products and services to increase sales and revenue. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary, vehicle, and commission-based structure.
As Manheim's BDM, you will be on the road, developing relationships with key people in the agriculture and related industry sectors - with the focus of business growth and providing excellent service to our customers. To be successful in this role, you will ideally be located in Central West/Northern NSW, or Southern QLD.
Responsibilities:
- Positively embrace field support tools and provide input to ongoing market analysis to develop sales and marketing effectiveness
- Prospect and account manage new business opportunities to meet targets and objectives
- Proactively assess customer needs and coordinate Manheim team members to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations
- Provide feedback to support product and services enhancement, engage in performance development tools, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in the Agricultural industry preferable, not essential
- Experience in a similar role in a medium to large organisation
- Ability to build relationships
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Intermediate working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce or other CRM system would be desirable
