Join our Project Management Office in Chennai/Gurgaon. We are a renowned engineering consulting firm, focused on delivering high-quality project management through strategic oversight of contracts, adherence to quality standards, meticulous document management, risk evaluation, and project oversight. To support our continued growth and enhance our internal project governance, we are looking for a Head of Project Management Office (PMO). This position will report to the Managing Director in India. You will support project managers of projects anchored across COWI globally including India and be responsible for establishing and managing the governance framework for the unit. You will also be responsible for developing, mentoring, and supervising a skilled team consisting of deputy project managers, planners, document controllers, contract, risk, and quality specialists, ensuring an efficient and collaborative work environment. On a day-to-day basis, you will: Develop and implement project governance frameworks, according to COWI project management quality, risk, contract management, document control, and project controlling processes. Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for the PMO team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and well-being. Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies for project management, quality management, document control, and risk mitigation. Monitor and optimize project performance using KPIs and data-driven insights to improve efficiency and decision-making. Implement continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and increase value creation. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers and Head of Projects, globally across executing units in COWI. Contribute to regular month-end closure activities for the projects being supported by PMO including project estimates, resolving project overruns, updating the long-term planning sheets and resource planning.
