Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Boy role based in Patel Nagar. The role involves picking up packages from the local hub or partner locations, verifying shipment details, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customers. Daily tasks include planning delivery routes, following traffic and safety regulations, obtaining delivery confirmations, handling cash or digital payments when required, and maintaining basic records of deliveries. The Delivery Boy is expected to provide courteous customer service at each drop-off, report any delivery issues to the supervisor, and keep the assigned vehicle or bike in good working condition. The role may also include assisting with loading and unloading packages and coordinating with the logistics team to manage delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Training orientation to interact professionally with customers and follow company delivery protocols.
- Basic understanding of Logistics Management and Transportation to manage routes, handle packages safely, and adhere to delivery timelines.
- Experience in Food & Beverage or any similar field involving on-ground delivery or service will be considered an advantage.
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license, familiarity with local Patel Nagar routes, and ability to use basic navigation apps.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school (or equivalent), with the ability to read and understand delivery instructions in English or local language.
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages, maintain punctuality, and work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays as required.
- Reliable, honest, and safety-conscious, with a strong focus on following company policies and maintaining customer trust.
