Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Courier & Cargo Operations Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end courier and cargo operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient shipment handling, timely deliveries, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, team management, and compliance with logistics standards while optimizing operational costs and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily courier and cargo operations, including domestic and international shipments.
- Supervise shipment booking, dispatch, transportation, delivery, and tracking activities.
- Lead and manage the operations team to achieve service excellence and operational targets.
- Coordinate with courier partners, airlines, transporters, freight forwarders, and vendors.
- Ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery of shipments.
- Monitor shipment performance and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage warehouse coordination, inventory movement, and dispatch planning.
- Prepare and review operational reports, MIS, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards.
- Handle escalations related to shipment delays, customer complaints, and service issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Monitor operational budgets and control logistics costs.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate operations staff.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
Required Skills- Strong knowledge of courier, cargo, freight forwarding, and logistics operations.

Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience- 5–10 years of experience in Courier, Cargo, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain Operations.
- Prior experience in managing operations teams.
- Experience handling domestic and international shipments.
- Knowledge of customs documentation and freight regulations is preferred.
