Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an experienced couple therapist. The couple therapist will provide professional counseling services to address relationship challenges, foster trust and communication, and guide couples toward resolving conflicts. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, creating tailored therapy plans, and maintaining detailed client records. The therapist will also work collaboratively with a team of experts to develop best practices and may assist in delivering training sessions or workshops when needed.
Qualifications
- MSc in Psychology
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in couple or relationship therapy
- Minimum 1 year of post-MPhil experience
- Certification or training in Relationship Therapy
- Expertise in Relationship Counseling, Couple Therapy, and Conflict Resolution
- Strong skills in Active Listening, Empathy, and Non-Judgmental Communication
- Proficiency in Client Assessment, Case Documentation, and Therapy Planning
- Certified Training in Psychology or Counseling, with a focus on couples or relationships
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with peers
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus
Core Competencies
- Strong command over couple therapy frameworks (Gottman, Imago, EFT, or similar)
- High clinical judgement with crisis awareness and risk assessment skills
- Excellent interpersonal presence balancing empathy, neutrality, and authority
- Ability to work within a tech-enabled clinical environment
- Strong adherence to ethical standards, documentation, and supervision
