Riverside University Health System (RUHS) seeks candidates to fill a Critical Care - Clinical Pharmacist I position with the Medical Center, located in Moreno Valley, CA. The Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary ICU care team, providing evidence-based pharmacotherapy guidance to physicians and nurses to ensure safe and effective medication use. Responsibilities include participating in patient care rounds, performing real-time medication management and dose optimization, mitigating adverse drug events, and overseeing the administration of high-risk and life-sustaining infusions. The Clinical Pharmacist I at RUHS is the first professional level within the Clinical Pharmacist series and reports to a Supervising Clinical Pharmacist.
Ideal candidates will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, demonstrated experience in critical care practice, and completion of one to two years of postgraduate clinical residency training PGY1 and/or PGY2 in Critical Care.
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.), with every third weekend rotation. Includes rotating 24-hour on-call coverage for weekends and holidays (approximately 2–3 weekends per year and one holiday per year).
