We’re hiring a General Labor - Prestress Plant Team Member to join County Prestress at our Burlington, WI, location.
Job Summary:
As a Plant Team Member, you will perform essential duties in concrete manufacturing and precast production, supporting fabrication, forming, and finishing operations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in physically demanding work environments and are committed to safety, teamwork, and high-quality concrete production.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or concrete production preferred but not required.
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills through on-the-job training.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and flexible to support team and production needs.
- Ability to bend, lift, and move up to 50 pounds regularly throughout a standard shift.
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
- Work in an indoor, non–climate–controlled manufacturing facility
- May work outdoors in extreme hot or cold temperatures, depending on plant layout and production activities.
- Work near moving, loud machinery and equipment, including potential electrical hazards.
- An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, grasping, and handling materials or equipment.
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, crawling, and lifting/moving materials up to 50 pounds (and heavier with assistance).
- Ability to concentrate, follow detailed instructions, communicate clearly, and perform job duties safely.
- Operation of tools, machinery, equipment, or vehicles specific to concrete manufacturing and production.
