We’re Hiring: Country Manager – India
(Off-Road Vehicle Electronics)
Makersan is expanding its presence in India. We are looking for a senior leader with strong industry connections to lead our growth in the off-road vehicle sector.
We develop smart electronic systems including controllers, displays, sensors, and HMI solutions for global OEMs in:
• Construction machinery
• Agricultural equipment
• Material handling (forklifts)
• Utility and special-purpose vehicles (UTV, fire trucks, etc.)
The Role
As Country Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and scaling Makersan’s business in India. This is a high-impact role combining technical leadership, business development, and market expansion.
You will directly engage with leading OEMs and key players in sectors such as:
Caterpillar, JCB, Tata Hitachi, John Deere, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Linde, Toyota Material Handling, and similar ecosystem players.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and grow Makersan’s India operations
• Drive revenue through existing industry relationships and new business development
• Engage directly with OEM customers on technical and commercial topics
• Align customer requirements with R&D (Europe/Turkey)
• Build and lead a local team (sales, application engineering, service)
• Establish Makersan as a trusted technology partner in the Indian market
What We’re Looking For
• Engineering background (Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar)
• Strong experience in off-road vehicles / agri / construction / material handling sectors
• Proven track record with major OEM customers in India
• Established network with key decision-makers (engineering, purchasing, business heads)
• Strong technical credibility combined with commercial execution ability
• Experience in scaling business or leading regional operations is a strong plus
