Our client is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Country Manager to lead its business in India.
This is a senior leadership position with full responsibility for the country’s commercial performance, growth strategy, team leadership and overall P&L. The Country Manager will oversee the local sales organization and work closely with regional stakeholders to strengthen the company’s market position in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the India business, including country strategy, revenue growth, profitability and P&L performance.
- Lead, manage and develop the local sales teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and commercial targets.
- Define and execute the go-to-market and growth strategy for the Indian market.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships that support sustainable growth.
- Establish clear sales targets, performance indicators and accountability across the commercial organization.
- Recruit, coach and retain high-performing commercial talent.
- Provide accurate business forecasts, market insights and performance updates to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile
- Significant leadership experience in a Country Manager, General Manager, Commercial Director or similar senior commercial role.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering revenue growth in India.
- Strong experience managing a country-level P&L.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial and market-entry strategies.
- Strong network and understanding of the Indian digital advertising environment.
- Experience building senior-level relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.
- Commercially minded, entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Data-driven and able to translate market insights into clear commercial actions.
