Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Counter Sales Executive located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad- Indore - Raipur area. The primary responsibilities include assisting customers with their product inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations, managing and maintaining displays, and achieving sales targets. Additional tasks include tracking inventory, processing transactions efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction, and reporting to the store manager regarding daily sales and operational updates.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills to assist customers effectively and ensure satisfaction with their purchase.
- Sales and negotiation skills to achieve targets and upsell products when appropriate.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations including inventory management, stock updates, and handling point-of-sale systems.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain attractive product displays and ensure proper store management.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to a fast-paced retail atmosphere.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service roles is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or sales training is an advantage.
