Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Counter Sales Consultant located in Bengaluru. The Counter Sales Consultant will assist patients and walk-in customers in selecting the right eyewear based on prescriptions, preferences, and lifestyle needs.
The role includes explaining frame and lens options, providing personalized recommendations, managing optical product displays, handling billing and inventory, and ensuring an excellent patient shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting suitable frames and lenses based on prescription and preferences
- Provide product consultations on lens types, coatings, and eyewear brands
- Ensure a pleasant retail experience for patients visiting the optical section
- Handle billing, order processing, and delivery coordination
- Manage inventory tracking and stock updates
- Coordinate with doctors and optometrists regarding patient prescriptions
Qualification
- Minimum 12th Pass / PUC
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused attitude with a friendly and professional approach
- Ability to understand patient needs and recommend suitable eyewear
- Basic sales and retail experience preferred
- Knowledge of optical products, frames, and lenses is an advantage
- Basic inventory and billing management skills
- Ability to quickly learn about optical products and trends
- Proficiency in English; Kannada is a plus
Preferred Experience
- Experience in optical stores, eyewear retail, or healthcare retail
- Familiarity with lens brands, coatings, and frame styles
- Prior customer service or sales experience
