About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic IT Counsellor to guide professionals and students in selecting and enrolling in IT courses, such as Salesforce administration, digital marketing certifications, front-end development, and more. You will act as a bridge between aspiring learners and our training programs, helping them align their career goals with the right educational paths. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, technology, and career mentoring in India's competitive IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions for students and working professionals seeking IT course enrollments.
- Assess candidates' career aspirations, skills, and backgrounds to recommend suitable courses (e.g., coding bootcamps, cloud certifications).
- Explain course curricula, benefits, career outcomes, and enrollment processes, addressing queries on fees, duration, and job placement support.
- Achieve monthly enrollment targets while maintaining high satisfaction rates through follow-ups and relationship building.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and faculty teams to promote programs via webinars, social media, and career fairs.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling interactions using CRM tools like Salesforce.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (B.Tech preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in counseling, sales, education, or IT training (experience in digital marketing or HR is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of IT courses and trends (e.g., JavaScript, Salesforce, front-end development, cloud computing).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools (Salesforce experience advantageous).
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Indian job market trends, social media for outreach, and basic counseling certifications.
