Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Counselor role based in Gurugram. The Counselor will interact with prospective learners, understand their educational and career objectives, and provide tailored guidance on suitable management and distance education programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, responding to admissions-related queries, explaining program structures and university options, and supporting candidates throughout the enrollment process. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of interactions, coordinating with partner institutions, and contributing to outreach activities that promote Infinity Education’s programs. Counselors are expected to collaborate with team members and uphold a professional, ethical approach to student guidance.
Qualifications
- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand individual needs and recommend appropriate educational paths.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present information clearly and build trust with diverse candidates.
- Organizational and administrative abilities to manage documentation, track applications, and follow up with prospective learners.
- Basic knowledge of management education and distance learning programs, or a willingness to quickly learn program details and university offerings.
- Proficiency with common office software and online communication tools used for admissions support and data management.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in counseling, education, or management is an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, or student support services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to non-discriminatory, learner-centric practices and the ability to work on-site in Gurugram on a full-time schedule.
