Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, located in Hyderabad, for a Counselor. The Counselor will guide students and professionals in making informed decisions about studying abroad and choosing career paths, programs, and universities suited to their goals. The role involves providing personalized consultations, assisting with applications, reviewing documentation, and offering insights on visas and scholarship opportunities. Counselors will also help in addressing inquiries, sharing program information, and maintaining an updated understanding of international education systems and trends.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of higher education systems, programs, and universities internationally
- Proficiency in documentation review, application preparation, and understanding visa processes
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple clients in a professional manner
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to assist students in career and education planning
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Prior experience in the education consultancy or counseling sector is advantageous
