Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Counselor at CommfyCouch. The Counselor will engage in providing emotional support and professional guidance to individuals seeking mental health assistance. Responsibilities include actively listening to clients, understanding their needs, providing coping strategies, and maintaining accurate and confidential client records. Counselors will leverage their expertise to promote mental and emotional well-being while upholding the core values of safety, respect, and empathy.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in counseling techniques and psychological principles
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide emotional support, empathetic listening, and constructive feedback
- Familiarity with online counseling tools and digital communication platforms
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical counseling standards
- Licensed or certified mental health professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMHC) preferred
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Experience in remote or telehealth settings is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
