Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Counselor based in Kozhikode. The Counselor will be responsible for providing emotional and psychological support to patients undergoing fertility treatments, conducting counseling sessions to address patients’ concerns, and guiding them through their fertility journey. Additional responsibilities include fostering open communication with the medical and nursing teams, delivering clear information about treatment plans and associated costs, and ensuring a compassionate experience for all patients.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust and build meaningful relationships with patients
- Experience in conducting counseling sessions and ability to manage sensitive topics with empathy
- Knowledge of healthcare and fertility treatment processes is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors and medical staff
- Proficiency in local languages and English for effective communication
- A post-graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related fields
- Relevant certifications in counseling practices and additional training in fertility counseling is a plus
