Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Counsellor based in Mumbai. The Counsellor will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and mentorship to students and alumni, facilitating career development and personal growth. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, developing career plans, collaborating with educational stakeholders, and organizing workshops or events. The role also involves addressing diverse needs and fostering a positive learning environment to support the foundation's mission.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
- Proficiency in counseling techniques, guidance strategies, and conflict resolution
- Ability to develop and deliver career planning workshops and mentorship programs
- Experience in education, psychology, or social work-related fields
- Project management, event organization, and collaboration skills
- Empathy, adaptability, and a passion for supporting communities and individuals
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Prior experience in educational settings or non-profit organizations is a plus
