Role Description The Counselling Psychologist will provide individual and, when required, group counselling sessions to employees, students, and other beneficiaries within the 1to1help ecosystem. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, offering short- and long-term therapeutic interventions, documenting sessions, and maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards. The role also involves participating in crisis intervention, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to workshops and webinars, and providing inputs for emotional risk assessments and tailored wellbeing programs. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tirupati, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong counselling and psychotherapy skills, including assessment, case formulation, and evidence-based intervention.
- Proficiency in emotional wellbeing support, crisis intervention, and risk assessment for diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation and adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with individuals, groups, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional licensure/registration (where applicable) and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
- Experience in employee assistance, student counselling, or workplace mental health settings is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a technology-enabled environment and openness to telecounselling and digital tools.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Tirupati, with flexibility for occasional extended hours during critical cases.
- Fluency in English and at least one regional language; additional language skills are an advantage.
