Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Counseling Psychology Faculty/Trainer at Counsel Union. The selected professional will be responsible for conducting online academic sessions for Counseling Psychology courses, developing course content and study materials, facilitating discussions on therapeutic approaches and mental health practices, evaluating learner progress, and delivering an engaging and clinically grounded learning experience for students and psychology professionals enrolled in the program.\
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live online sessions for Counseling Psychology courses
- Create and update course content, case studies, presentations, and study materials
- Facilitate discussions on counseling theories, therapeutic models, mental health, client-counselor dynamics, and related Counseling Psychology concepts
- Connect psychological theories and counseling models with real-world clinical and community applications
- Evaluate assignments, case studies, role-plays, reflective journals, and learner assessments
- Address student queries and provide academic and clinical guidance
- Stay updated with recent developments, research, and emerging trends in Counseling Psychology
- Collaborate with the academic team to enhance and update curriculum quality
- Develop engaging, structured, and application-based learning experiences for learners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, Psychology, or a related field (M.Phil. or Doctoral degree preferred)
- Strong expertise in Counseling Psychology theories, therapeutic approaches, and clinical applications (CBT, DBT, Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, etc.)
- Experience in teaching, training, or conducting academic or clinical sessions
- Ability to conduct engaging and interactive online classes
- Practical understanding of counseling process, mental health assessment, therapeutic relationship, and ethical practice preferred
- Experience in developing academic content, case studies, assignments, and structured assessments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex counseling concepts into practical and relatable learning experiences
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
