Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Costing & Estimation Specialist, based in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analysing project requirements, and coordinating with design and project teams to ensure accurate and optimized budgets. Daily tasks will include evaluating project specifications, preparing detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantity), sourcing materials, vendor negotiations, bid submissions, and maintaining procurement records. The role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with stakeholders to support timely project execution and budget integrity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Costing, Estimation, and preparing BOQs, with a good understanding of pricing and materials used in interior design projects.
- Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate project requirements, assess costs, and analyse vendor quotes effectively.
- Experience in vendor management, sourcing, procurement, and supply chain coordination.
- Knowledge of interior design and construction processes, along with technical and financial acumen.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with designers, project managers, clients, and vendors.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, or other project estimation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Interior Designing preferred.
- Previous experience in interior fit-out costing and estimation will be highly preferred.
