Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Alwar. The Costing Engineer will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analyzing project budgets, and assisting with project planning. Key responsibilities include reviewing customer requirements, coordinating with engineering and procurement teams, preparing bills of materials (BOMs), and delivering accurate cost calculations. Additionally, the role involves engaging with suppliers and ensuring compliance with specifications to facilitate optimal project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost estimation, budget analysis, and project planning
- Ability to review technical specifications, prepare bills of materials (BOMs), and ensure project cost accuracy
- Experience working with engineering and procurement teams for efficient project execution
- Familiarity with low-tension switchgear, power distribution panels, electrical standards, and related components
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for costing and estimation
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in the electrical manufacturing industry is highly desirable
