Role Description
This is a Part-time, work from home role for a Costing Engineer. The Costing Engineer will be responsible for estimating and analyzing manufacturing costs for metal fabrication products and custom tooling.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills in cost estimation, budget preparation, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production methods in the metalworking or automation industry
- Proficiency in engineering software/tools and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to optimize costs effectively
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in cost estimation or manufacturing industries is highly desirable
