Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Costing Engineer located in the Pune Division. The Costing Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing costs associated with manufacturing processes, preparing cost estimates, coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize cost efficiency, and ensuring compliance with client and organizational cost objectives. The role also involves preparing detailed reports and supporting pricing strategies based on cost analysis.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cost analysis, estimation, and financial modeling
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in procurement, production, and engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in relevant software such as ERP systems and costing analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and coordination
- Educational background in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is an advantage
