About the Role
The Costing & Engineering - Engineer / Sr.Engineer will play a crucial role in managing engineering documents, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Receipt of Drawings, RFQs, Maintenance of Register, and delivery of quotes.
- From the receipt of RFQ WITHIN 3 Days Feasibility Study to be done if required RTS to be done and Response to be sent to Manager - Costing & Estimation .
- For feasible RFQs RM Requirements to be sent to Purchase Dept. / Thro Purchase or thro Engineering Dept.
- Costing sheets to be worked out and to be vetted by Manager - Costing & Estimation and forwarding to MKTG Dept.
- In case of Insufficient RFQ Dates, due date extension request to .
- All Costing sheet Backups to be maintained in server on weekly basis. (RM Quotes, Special tool Quotes, special process quotes).
- Evaluating the KPI’s Reporting & Updating to Manager - Costing & Estimation
- Verification of EMS and QMS objectives in line with the target.
- Identification of Environmental statutory regulatory requirements during feasibility study.
Qualifications
B.Tech/ BE – Mechanical / Aeronautical
Required Skills
- Design review and prepare derive drawings using Solid works.
- Prepare - review & approve engineering documents- customer print ballooning, PFMEA, CP, WIS, Setup sheet.
- Proficiency on Engineering specification, familiar with aerospace material & standards, GD&T.
- Familiar with machining on CNC & VMC, Process planning, knowledge on special coating processes.
Preferred Skills
- Good Communication.
- MS office.
- Preferably AS9100, EMS14001.
