Costco Wholesale is hiring a hardworking and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team at the Toronto location, 100 Billy Bishop Way. As part of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for stocking merchandise, maintaining product displays, and ensuring our members enjoy a well-organized shopping environment. In this full-time role, you will perform critical tasks that contribute to merchandising, inventory management, and the overall member experience. About the Job As a Stocker at Costco, you will play a key role in keeping the warehouse organized and fully stocked. You'll handle large volumes of merchandise, operate basic equipment, and work closely with supervisors to maintain store standards. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will help ensure product availability and safe shopping conditions for members. Key Responsibilities for the Stocker Your tasks will focus on stocking merchandise, maintaining displays, and assisting members. Stocks and straightens products according to merchandising standards. Collects stray items, returns products to shelves, and maintains high product levels. Coordinates with supervisors to execute merchandising plans and write pull-lists for forklift operators. Uses box cutters, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrap machines safely and effectively. Sets up and modifies product displays to ensure safe handling by members. Monitors and updates product signage, using marking guns and computer-generated signs. Clears debris, removes empty pallets, and operates bailers and trash compactors. Provides prompt and courteous service, assisting members with large items and product locations. Minimum Qualifications for the Stocker To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements: Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Licenses/Certifications: None required. Experience: No prior experience needed. Preferred Qualifications for the Stocker The following qualifications will help you excel in this position: Ability to safely operate basic warehouse equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and member service skills. For Quebec locations, French communication skills are required.
