■ About the Role
Sparrow Shopfits is hiring a Cost Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Executive for retail interior fit-out and turnkey execution projects across India.
The role involves BOQ preparation, quantity extraction, Pan India site measurements, billing coordination, and commercial validation to support smooth project execution and cost control.
The candidate will work closely with the Billing Head and execution teams to ensure accurate measurements, disciplined billing, and proper quantity reconciliation aligned with actual site execution.
■ Key Responsibilities
• Prepare cost estimates and BOQs for retail interior fit-out projects
• Extract quantities from drawings and scope documents
• Conduct Pan India site measurements and quantity verification whenever required
• Validate quantities with drawings, execution status, and site inputs
• Support the Billing Head in billing, quantity reconciliation, and commercial documentation
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and Billing Engineer for quantity verification
• Track extra items, variations, and scope changes
• Maintain estimation sheets, BOQs, measurement records, and cost MIS
■ Requirements
• Education: Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Interior Design
• Experience: 1–3 years in Cost Estimation / Quantity Surveying / Billing
• Experience in retail interior fit-out projects preferred
• Strong understanding of drawings, measurements, BOQs, and materials
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel (mandatory)
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
• Willingness to travel Pan India for site measurements, if required
• Ability to work in an office-based environment
