Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional for a full-time Cost Estimation role based at our office in Coimbatore. The role involves analyzing project requirements to determine pricing, preparing cost estimates, collaborating with engineering and production teams, and ensuring accurate data integration in proposals. The candidate will also review market trends and material costs to optimize estimates and support decision-making. This is an on-site position requiring hands-on collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in cost estimation, pricing analysis, and bid preparation for machining manufacturing or related industries.
- Proficiency in analytical and research methods to gather and evaluate material, labor, and production costs.
- Technical expertise in engineering concepts and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong proficiency with estimation software, spreadsheets, and tools relevant to the role.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to accuracy in cost forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in machining manufacturing is a plus.
