Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Management Accountant (CMA) to join our team in Shrirampur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing cost data, preparing financial reports, and supporting strategic decision-making to optimize production costs and improve profitability in the Aluminium and steel manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, analyze, and maintain cost records related to Aluminium and steel manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production costs, raw material costs, and overhead expenses.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and control budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to streamline operations.
- Prepare detailed reports for management on cost performance and financial health.
- Assist in audits and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Implement cost control measures and recommend process improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting cost management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- CMA qualification from a recognized institute.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably in the Aluminium or steel industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tally Prime or similar ERP software.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
