Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for managing cost analysis, monitoring manufacturing costs, preparing cost reports, and ensuring budgetary controls. Additional tasks include identifying cost reduction opportunities, collaborating with other teams for financial planning, and maintaining cost accounting systems for accurate financial reporting and decision-making support.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cost Analysis, Budgeting, and Cost Control
- Strong skills in Financial Reporting and Variance Analysis
- Familiarity with Inventory Management, Manufacturing Processes, and Cost Systems
- Proven aptitude in Data Interpretation and Analytical Problem-Solving
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ERP software
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CMA certification is a plus
- Prior experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing or metals industry is an advantage
