IT Technician

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, ensuring that our systems run smoothly and efficiently. If you are a problem-solver with a strong understanding of hardware, software, and networks - and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment - we'd love to hear from you! Duties & Responsibilities: - Configuring and installing of new IT equipment. - Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability. - Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers. - Repairing or replacing damaged hardware. - Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting. - Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. - Office and Site Visits, repairs or fault finding on equipment - weekly visits. - Have the ability to notice a bigger problem that is showing up as smaller symptoms and report to the appropriate person. - Needs to be comfortable speaking to technical teams that support the application for updates, queries or larger problems. - Translate technical requirements in layman's terms for management approval. - The technician should be able to multi-task. - Must keep themselves updated with the latest developments on the technology front. - Be able to break up more complex tasks into smaller manageable pieces. - Must have own vehicle as the person would need to visit sites and offices. - Fluent in English.
